A Great Good Nothing Could Be Better Day!

First I have to tell you about yesterday.
I'll spill it as fast as I can.
I have been helping my friend with recommendations to assist her care of her 96 year old mother. She calls me her care-giver consultant.
Isn't that fancy?

Our visit was a lot of fun for me.
I love to wear my nurse hat
and
I love love love to give advice.
wanted or NOT
gag choke spit cough----
did I really actually admit that OUT LOUD?

Oooooooo I did I really did.
this is where you very politely fake your surprise!
From their house a fabric store is close by.
I went in with coupons and plans.
Plans for 5 aprons and doll clothes.
I have been hoping to do some type of little cottage industry work.
Doing absolutely NOTHING for pay is just not an option.
I'll go crazier than I already am.
Get this.
With the store sales and careful planning and two 40% coupons,
I left with 2 big bags full of fabric. Everything needed for the aprons, and ta da da
I spent $46.
For real, pinkie swear.

While I was shopping a woman who worked there but didn't look like she did started talking to me about working on her day off. She told me the remnant bin was getting marked down by 75% and I put about 6 of those puppies into my cart. I also put a few bolts of fabric back that I would no longer need.
It was just like the old days when a remnant cost 50 cents.
The most expensive one was $1 .26.
I would have turned a cartwheel if I could.
In my head I was flipping like a circus performer!!
YES YES YES I was!
No I am not excited.
This morning I got up eager to organize and create a work space that wouldn't bother everyone else. The kitchen table is not a good idea. My craft room has bunk beds in it.

Hope y'all don't object to being moved over. You are no longer the center of attention!
Just teasin...you'll get photo updates till your sick of them. But hallelujah you'll get to see something besides a dog!
I tidied up everywhere. De cluttering anything in my path, including the table and hutch which catch ungodly amounts of junk. Bewitched has nothing on me with that little nose wiggle.
This counter top has not seen the light of day in ages. The dust and furball's were just shameful *
I kid you not!
OK next time I'll photograph the evidence.
I even made my bed! The thing has to be in shock. Our day didn't stop here either.
Jen went to a great JOB interview that was so positive she came home on cloud nine. She didn't get an answer yet, as in "your hired." However, we are believing that she will get this job. The main thing is she said it filled her with so much hope that regardless she is going to improve her job situation. Much prayer has gone and is going into this. The exciting part is that it would be days, Mon- Thurs and she would be home in the evening to raise her kids.
Cartwheel flipping happening AGAIN!
OK

 pause... inhale***exhale****inhale****breathe....

We are talking about setting up a booth at the Farmers Market in Jackson. We can sell our crafts, flowers, baked goodies, and anything else we can think of. Jen would be able to help load it all up on Friday's and we'd go sell on Saturday morning.
She LOVES the idea and would be the best marketer ever!

Which has me on cloud nine.
She is on cloud nine.
Did I tell you that I'm on cloud nine?
It's a big cloud.
There's room for you too.
It's a cloud called hope. and like that isn't enough, get a load of this...

We also went to visit our friends and take them a meal.
Mr. Absolutely Charming and amazingly smart, ( he can explain how to mix up oatmeal cookies with "wayzins" in a bowl and he isn't even two years old yet)  with DIMPLES no less, breathe my lips are stuck puckered up
has a new baby brudder....with triple chins at two weeks old... here count them,
he's trying to decide if he wants to fuss
yeah he wanted to fuss. But I took him back and cuddled him STANDING UPwhy do they know if your sitting down? and he was quiet long enough for his Mommie to eat her dinner. She needs her calories with the way this fella is porkin out. What a sweet heart. He looks just like his Daddy. There is nothing like a newborn baby to just soothe everything in a woman. I melted. In fact I was so overcome with the baby gushie gooey feeling of "ahhhhh" that I totally forgot a feet picture. They were even nekkid and I STILL forgot.
I claim a dementia moment! A relaxed moment! Oh forget it*** I apologize alright? I have committed the carnal sin of blogdom, the omission of tiny toes. It gives me another reason to go back over there doesn't it?

and it is still a good great nothing could be better day....
my cup is spilling over yes I have pain, no nothing has changed except for attitude
sigh
smile
inhale
exhale
breathe
give thanks
for joy
for hope
for life
giving thanks to my wonderful
marvelous
faithful
redeemer
and Lord.

HAPPY EASTER, EVERYONE!

HAPPY EASTER, EVERYONE!

All I need to know,
I learned from the Easter Bunny!
Don't put all your eggs in one basket.
Everyone needs a friend who is all ears.
There's no such thing as too much candy.
All work and no play can make you a basket case.
A cute tail attracts a lot of attention.
Everyone is entitled to a bad hare day.
Let happy thoughts multiply like rabbits.
Some body parts should be floppy.
Keep your paws off of other people's jelly beans.
Good things come in small, sugar coated packages.
The grass is always greener in someone else's basket.
To show your true colors, you have to come out of your shell.
The best things in life are still sweet and gooey.
May the joy of the season fill your heart.
AND MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND HAVE A
Happy, Holy,Healthy And Blessed Easter!

Good Friday

Why was something so horrific "good?" To our minds there was nothing good here.
A violent horrible death for an innocent.
Jesus has to be who he said he was, the son of God.
Only deity could survive this to even make it to the hill.

For me.

For you.

Why?

because a Holy God cannot look on sin.
Jesus said, You must be born again.
When and why did He say that?

There was a man of the Pharisees (the teachers of the law) named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. This man came to Jesus by night (why at night? did he wish to ask in secret?) and said to Him, "Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that YOU do unless God is with him."
Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
Nicodemus said to Him,"How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?"
Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
That which is born of flesh is flesh, and that which is born of Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, You must be born again,"

The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going.

So is EVERYONE who is BORN OF THE SPIRIT. John 3:1-8

For thousands of years the way to God had been blocked. Jesus was making all things new. He made a way for us to have abundant life, a new life, knitted to Him, grafted to Him, new in Him that we may join in and be a part of His kingdom.

That my friends is why we call this Friday---GOOD.
