I didn't know you were so...Prayers for your safety! I didn't know you were so close. We met some people yesterday at the artesian well that are visiting here from Louisiana. I felt bad for them because they are a long way from home (driving) and their home and family are in the storm's projected path. We asked them how do they put up with that every year? They asked how do you put up with the bugs in summer and snow in winter here? I guess it's all in how you see things through your own eyes!Grandma Tillie's Bakeryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04347610921670487366noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6559227461484344655.post-73758202126724953302008-08-31T21:24:00.000-07:002008-08-31T21:24:00.000-07:00Ugh, I was so worried you were closer to the storm...Ugh, I was so worried you were closer to the storm! I've been pulling up the radar pictures of the Gulf every couple of hours!

As for your questions... Yes, all the laundry got folded and put away. And... my son's football schedule is such that on non-game days, he leaves at 7 am and doesn't get home until 6 pm or 8 pm. He is playing JV which means he has games during the week and on Saturdays. I have less time on those days and we get home LATE. Soooo... I probably have more time than most. I am in the process of making a schedule though because I can get lost in it all and then stuff doesn't get done. I have discovered this little place called, "What's for Dinner?" For years I did once a month cooking and this is very similar only they do all the shopping for you and you assemble all the dishes there... where they've already prepped the food (chopped the onions, celery, etc.). They had a special for August and are continuing it through September where they assemble the meals for you for free. Cool, huh? I also watch very little TV and rarely talk on the phone.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
