A Quest

Somewhere in this world there are nice soft white scrubs that are thick enough to be opaque, as in non transparent. Hopefully they are in manufacture now and somewhere I can help this intelligent person to make some good sales. EVERY NURSE AT THIS HOSPITAL WANTS TO KNOW .
People are doing all kinds of things to cover up, wear tights, which is just way to hot. Wear tee shirts underneath, and jackets on top. Sounds like layering to me which also defeats the pupose of cool comfortable clothing you can work hard in and keep comfortable. I am not comfortable with countable cellulite showing on the back of my pants.
I won't rave tonight. I will thank Grandma J for the brand of baby fpat. But somebody has got to know somebody who wants to make nurses who have to wear white something they can be happy in. Hey is this going to be my new career move? I'll make some and see, start fillling orders and whadaya got? Covered up butts. Ya'll got any ideas speak up, speak out, speak, loud, and say something great! I double dog dare you. I can do that because I passed my tests with 100%'s
thought they were going to be F's but they weren't! whooohooo. Now if we can find some decent scrubs to wear...then life can calm down from this PITCH! You do not want to see pictures of this.

The first thing which leaps to mind is the uniforms for karate or tai kwon do. They're a much thicker white cotton, and one version wraps, while the other has a v neck.

Congratulations on your grades! I think you may have hit the nail on the head with the idea of designing white scrubs. Every great idea started in just one person's head. You know there is a need, so go at it girl! Design and make a few, wear them to work and post pictures on your blog!

Sam buys Dickies brand. While he doesnt wear white, I do know that they're the thickest and heaviest scrubs he's had to date.

Love it. You need to connect up with one of these major manufacturers (don't ask me to tell you who they are, I won't know, I'm hoping you do), tell them your idea and make sure you receive credit for the design of said scrubs.

Seeing as it's so hard to make the right connections nationally, what about contacting the local supplier where you are and pitching the idea to whomever makes the existing stuff? Or at least get some names OR better yet, find someone you trust who can put into 3-d what you envision. Give a few out for free, and let the people speak for themselves....I think--KNOW--you can do it.

Peach posted a picture of a lady in Walmart in a bright yellow dress with her panties showing through and this is it folks! Everybody wants to see their nurses underwear right?

You poor thing! I avoid wearing white like the plague:/ Sounds to me as if you have just discovered a new business venture for yourself!! Go for it:)

Bravo on the A+++++!

Good luck on the modesty search. Even little girls' t-shirts are gossamer-thin and unacceptable. I think we're ready to go the route of self-styled/sewn clothing around here. Elizabeth has begun altering jeans (the peek-a-boo panty thing JUST WON'T WORK around this cottage!) and Lydia is longing for a peasant blouse and skirt. We're firing up the machine and heading away from all store-bought junk.

If you start a clothing line I'll buy the peasant-y beauties. Maybe you and Flea could partner in business. Whattaya think?? ; )

p.s.
No date for a road trip yet. Gary's swamped with a new project. He's revolutionizing the forensics industry with a new scope idea. Pretty cool!! He's a genius and keeps a messy office (think Einstein's hair,) but he does amaze me (and pays our bills while having fun = True SUCCESS).

I miss you too!
