New Baby Old Glasses

Look at what this man pulled out of his desk drawer.

Can you tell what it is? Is this dorky or what?

Can you believe that big glasses like this we're EVER in style? He has been told to never ever wear them outside. If he does, I will pretend I don't know who he is.

Look it what I got to do today.

I love babies. This one is 12 days old. Isn't he precious? Finally, a baby that's not too far away!

We went visiting today. We rode in the pick up and went out to see a new baby! I love their velvety soft skin and little soft heads. The new Mommy was very tired so Aunt Nannie cuddled and petted the little fella for almost 4 hours and they both slept. I am so relaxed, new babies are better than valium. Notice the hunny is wearing his good glasses. What a relief.
Does anybody remember the old cartoon about "Fearless Fly?"
That's what I'm talkin about.

I don't remember Fearless Fly and I'm old! Could there be anthing better than a new baby. So glad you had a chance to relax for a little while and hold the little one. The.best.medicine.ever...;p

Never heard of Fearless Fly, but new babies are the bomb. You Hubby can see through that old prescription? I'm impressed. Though they look more like something a woman would have worn in the 80's.

What's your hunny doing with my dad's old glasses??? Too funny, hard to believe they wore them WAY BACK WHEN...

New babies are the BEST! I adore them.

*wondering* so what's so wrong with those cute glasses?

Handsome fella, adorable baby, and a very happy looking, relaxed Nannie!

Whats with all these women and babies , dont you girls KNOW they are contagious , if you hold one you could catch it . and ive determined that milkmaid is the carrier of the contagion

Hi there! I am so sorry to hear about you having to be off work etc. But yes, you do have a beautiful garden. And also flowers. I was just sick this morning when I looked outside. The deer had eaten ever bloom in site. I mean all close to the house!! They never bother our neighbors..Just mine.
Well hope you feel better soon. Catch up on your reading and sewing.

Its such a drag that I was in a bad mood that day and decided to skip seeing the baby. I feel like crap now for that, and I hope my absence didn't offend the Allens.
