Spring Promises Are Giving Joy
I had to go out and bend over, to pull weeds, and to snap some photos for you. Hopefully no one was looking while I was bending over. Thank God there is no one hunting out here.
Mistakes can happen you know.
The carpenter is busy building.
We will be weeding steadily for the next few weeks. Cold and snow does not stop weeds. I am trying to think of ways to fix up my two big flower beds with annuals. Instead of flats of flowers I am going to use seeds. Economizing is necessary in every area of the home, even out here. I won't get the instant saitisfaction of putting out plants, but the seeds will sprout and that will be fun. It is also fun to see that is coming up and propagating with seeds is fairly easy.
The roses are sprouting buds of promise. The first flush will be very soon.
Everywhere I looked today I saw buds and beauty.
This is the day that the Lord has made. Let us REJOICE and be GLAD in it!!

It sounds like you are having a Spring Fling. Enjoy it!
I love your header..very pretty! I went for a long walk today...I was sure that I had died and gone to Heaven! The warmth of the sun on my face was sweet! You have such a nice home and yard...have fun! Come say hi :D
beautiful pics...hope you didn't over-do today..;p
Lovely. We are cold up here again, so thanks for sharing the love.
I've never understood why if something is beautiful, it is a weed. I also don't understand trash trees. I like them all....except maybe mesquite trees, but they aren't really trees, just thorny overgrown bushes.
Thank you for the beautiful pictures! They make me feel all warm and happy. :)
We had a beautiful day here, but no real signs of spring yet. It is still pretty early for that in my part of the world, but soon! :)
Oh, spring! I'm a wee bit jealous but oh-so-glad for you. I'll bet it's WONDERFUL to get out of the house and into the fresh air. And gardening!
You are a few weeks ahead of us. The tulips and daff's are up but way far away from blooming. Your yard is lovely, really it is. And even the weeds are lovely. I am so happy daylight savings time is here.
What a beautiful home and yard. Don't you just love getting out and working in the sun and soil? Are your 'new parts' holding up with all of the work you are doing?
So beautiful there! You are weeks ahead of us here in CT. sigh
How wonderful that spring it with you!! My daughter picked a couple of Daffodils that have sprung up....but, really nothing else for us, yet!
You must be thrilled to bits to see spring arriving.
Over here Autumn (fall) is on it's way.
Spring wants to come visit me, but will lose its way by Saturday when more snow is predicted.
I think I need you to visit me and help me figure out how to make my yard beautiful.
You have such a nice home and oh how I love willow trees!!!
Oooh the joys of SPRING!!!
