Severe Storm Saturday

But not here. Again we are blessed as the storms go north of us. The fruit is still on the trees. Some of these irises are now in bouquets. We did get some much needed rain.

Just thought I'd let you know that all is well here.

Now if I can just catch my neighbor at home and do a photo shoot of his house! Ya'll need to see that bright orange fireplace mantel.

Glad to know you are okay. It sounds like it was really awful in some places.

It was good news to hear the storms missed you. We are always vigilant during Spring, for this kind of weather.

Your irises are beautiful. I think I'll cut a few of ours to take to the lake, this trip. I love that you can cut an iris with one bloom and several buds and that one stem will stay a beautiful bouquet for days and days.

Happy Sunda!

Thank goodness you were untouched by yesterday's storms. Your place is so lovely and so are you! ((hugs))

I didn't hear the news until just now and came right over to check if you are O.K. Thank you Lord!

I also re-read your post about the son you will be helping. Hmmmm...lots to think about for me. I would love to do something like that, but what stops me every time are the greedy b a _ _ ards that take people's money that should be going to the kids. I would love to sponsor a kid with bakery money, then I could tell people that buy from me that they are also helping.

That photo is outstanding. Spring is probably my favorite time of year. Well, I love fall too. I guess I love them all, I just don't like to be cold...or hot. So for out of doors spring and fall are my favorites. Glad you are safe and sound.

I was thinking about you! They had to yank a lot of folks off the road at the Nashville Marathon, but we were spared the horror you had in Mississippi...so glad you are okay. And your beautiful place was safe.
