Hmmm. I think I would crochet a good amount of blankets and scarves (they are the only things I can crochet) with that much time on my hands. That, and I would probably gain a good 40 pounds or so. :(
Hang in there!
Read . talk on Phone , Jigsaw Puzzles , Knit , Cross Stitch , Talk On Phone , Ring the lil bell for hubby to come running , Talk on phone , write letters , orginize your phone call book , originize ur recipe box , talk on phone , eat , ring your lil bell for hubby to come running to wait on you hand and foot , paint a picture , talk on phone .
I hope you have a laptop and lots of visitors....hopefully bringing chocolate and maybe some wine and good books. I would get really tired of the TV, I think. Are you into the Olympics? Mostly I guess you just have to let yourself heal and I wish you all the best in that.
Can you do other things with your hands? Beadwork, needle point, crochet, knitting. I will keep praying for you. I know I just about went insane when my foot was broken. You have been there, done that multiple times in the last year.
I would be on the computer a lot! I am not much of a phone talker, so puzzles, reading, crochet/knit, movies, tv, eating...
looks like you already have lots of good ideas...teach me to crochet?? Glad you are feeling better, now behave o.k.?
Thanks for the tips--Coffee Man you crack me up!
Glad to hear you are O.K.--I have had the stomach flu and just this morning feel like I am going to live.
Drink wine until you can no longer remember you are stuck in a chair.
write your book!
How are you feeling?
Looks like everyone has already given you the ideas I could have come up with.
I posted a pattern for a mop system cover the other day. Do you crochet?
If you sew at all (crochet, knit...) I'd start making things for gifts to stockpile. Get a jump on Christmas! I'm sure as handy as you are you could craft something as well. But you've got my pity - while I'd love nothing more than sitting around for a while it gets old in a hurry.
You write!!! You write a crazy story! Maybe all us bloggers could start a game with you... maybe send you a starter and you finish??? Like... hmmmmmm...
There once was this crazy blogger that lost her voice... she saw a new doctor and now her VOICE IS COMING BACK!!!!!
Oh wait... no... that is MY LIFE!!!!
Can you believe it?!?!?!
Okay... so finish my story. Tell me what comes next!
Read! And I hope it is flying by for you....
